Whites Wolves: A Cry in the Wild 2 (1993)

I quite like this movie. I watched without any expectation. But, for a joyful surprise for me the plot hooked me.

This story of young people surviving to nature is interesting. I must say that when i saw Matt McCoy came to my mind the line that he repeated in his role as "employee" of the father of George Costanza ("Serenity Now").

In this film, the characters have a certain development, which is appreciated, where we observe the passage of a sullen young one who is committed to his team and even shows us a side of leader. On the other hand we see the evolution that has Dolenz's boyfriend from an immature youth, a man who takes responsibility

I must emphasize that the chief in charge of the expedition "Jake" gives us a great performance, being quite credible

Mark Paul Gosselaar very well in his role as one of the leaders, the cool guy, and positive, capable of great acts

Ami Dolenz well in his paper, one of his greatest performances I've seen so far. His character has different shades, and she knows how to show and make the transition seamlessly between them

A movie that I recommend

Stepmonster (1993)

First, i have to say, that this was a funny movie, so my congratulations to Ami to pick this film.

The plot is pretty funny, and the time seems to pass fast. While not aspiring to deliver fun, I think it is important to the message given to us, about the parent-child relationship.

I give this movie the merit of had a plot that comes out than usual. Funny parts works.

Among the characters, I think the writers and producers took no chances over the account, and occupied one-dimensional stereotypical characters
I think Ami try to do what he could with the character assigned to it, probably did not have much room to go a little beyond

Ami must give various attributes like the girl who called the attention of men (starting with the protagonist), as well as the role of an older sister, and friend, who is the only one that nevertheless is the only one who believes in the

This is why I believe she was well into the rol she was asked

Rescue Me (1992)

I believe this film may have been much better. His purpose was entertain, with easy jokes, some action scenes, and leaving some ideas about how life actually is.

Unfortunately, the  ideas shown on the film lack of depth in their development.

We can see a geek who feels a great attraction of Ginny (we can not speak of love, since he doesn`t know the girl).

In other hand, we can observe Ami in a too steretyped character, a rich spoiled daddy`s  girl, cheerleader, and girlfriend of the football captain. Maybe i can grant that Ginny shows cleverness to escape from her captors, something that is not seen at all in the stereotyped characters of cheerleaders.

Fraser's story about his father works, because it seeks to incorporate dramatic elements to the film which I think does. Sometimes works her duet with Dudikoff, but not always

The concept of nerd who wants to be the hero, rescuing the woman of his dreams of two bandits, along with a renegade of the Vietnam War is interesting,

The movie may have been much better, with a better development of characters, a better explanation of stories of the past of the protagonists which would allowerd to understand in a better way

Personally i would have liked a sincere conversation between Fraser and Ginny

The film tries to show a different ending, more realistic, which is a good idea (rather the happy ending than what one would expect), but should have done more, giving greater depth to conclude this film.
Ami interprets a character who is a caricature, looking to get a laugh (besides the beauty of Dolenz), and even see it as an antagonist, because we can see practically only bad things in Ginny. Her performance is good, if we think in what the director and producers wants to see in screen, but unfortunately continues the simplistic stereotype of spoiled cheerleader who does what her wants, and almost always gets what she wants.

While Ami performed correctly the role assigned, setting the tone, plus her voice was quite shrill (like a little girl) different to anothers performance, like "Demolition University" for example. I personally think that it may have helped her was typecast of this kind of character.

And Ig think we think about the mentioned real life, and what the movie tries to transmit, characters like Ginny, are actually more complex than as showed on screen.

She´s Out of Control (1989)

A film that fulfills it´s purpose: Entertain the audience. With a premise that appeals to comedy, this film even surprise us with a few twists.

The comedy works, and even the film can touch some serious issues .The film bring to us how changes the relationship father-daughter from childhood to adolescence.

Ami Dolenz has a excellent performance in this film, showing versatility, from a shy little girl, to a determined beautiful teenager.

This requires a variety of feelings that Ami masterfully shows onscreen such as inocence, falling in love, impotence, and the fluctuations in the relationship between father and daughter.

Tony Danza is superlative in his starring role as the father trying to overprotect her daughter.

The duet on screen  formed to Wallace Shawn is hilarious. Also, the performance of Dana Ashbrook achieves in show to us the clash between a conservative father and a rebel boyfriend.

Finally, I believe her performance has different angles, and a great variety of facets, which she handled properly.
